Beachglass Ministries (BGM) is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to inspiring, motivating and facilitating the next generation of Christian world changers. BGM currently produces and distributes the Brinkman Adventures radio show.
Who We Are:
Ian Bultman, President/Chairman of the Board/Director
Ian was blessed to grow up in a wonderful Christian family with Godly parents. He attended and then taught at the Alaska Bible Institute in Homer Alaska. Later he accepted a call to serve as pastor of worship arts for the Alliance Bible Church in Mequon Wisconsin, filling that role for 18 years. During this time Ian also launched the radio show Brinkman Adventures‘. Today he works full time with Beachglass Ministries. When not creating radio drama, Ian enjoys his family and God’s creation. He & his wife Amy can often be found walking the shores of Lake Michigan, a fact that led to the name of this non-profit.
Rick Haendel/Vice President/Treasurer
Rick founded and led a successful company in Grafton Wisconsin. Upon retirement, Rick felt called to serve as the director of operations at the Alliance Bible Church, a position he continues to hold. Besides working with Beachglass, Rick enjoys discipling younger men and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Dennis Stapleton – Vice Chair/Secretary
Denny directed Harley Davidson’s clothing line for a number of years before founding a successful business in Northern Wisconsin along with his wife. Denny loves the Lord, has a knack for business, a genuine heart for missions, and cares about reaching young people. When he’s not doting on grandkids, Denny can often be found on his tractor redesigning the ‘back 40’ or taking the Bultman kids for rides.
In 2009 while praying and reading his Bible, Ian Bultman experienced a moment of inspiration. ‘Create a missionary radio show that will inspire future missionaries‘. He soon began producing what would later become known as Brinkman Adventures. Ian wrote the first three stories and his children volunteered as voice actors along with additional voice actors hired from the Milwaukee area. The radio show dramatized real missionary stories from around the world, resembled old time radio and incorporated Hollywood style sound effects, music and acting. Over time God sent many talented people from other radio shows who offered technical expertise. Ian’s writing, production, and acting team quickly grew in number to include people from around the globe.
By 2015 the Brinkman team had produced forty-eight half hour episodes that were airing on over two hundred terrestrial radio outlets and were touching thousands of people each week. Over fifty thousand promotional CDs had been given away, with several more thousand sold. The team communicated with listeners on a daily basis, fulfilled orders, and continued to produce new episodes. Ian and his family began traveling to home school conventions, camps and church conferences in various states to represent the program. Life became extremely busy!
It soon became apparent that the Bultmans needed to dedicate all of their attention to this growing ministry. So on July 1st 2016 Ian resigned as worship pastor from the church where he had served for 18 years. He and some close friends formed Beachglass Ministries, Inc, a non-profit organization tasked with continuing the production of the Brinkman Adventures and engaging in other activities aimed at inspiring, motivating and facilitating Christian world changers.
BGM is currently funded by donations from individuals and organizations including businesses, churches, and other non-profits, grants and foundations. BGM also receives approx. 30% of its funding through the sale of CD’s and downloadable versions of Brinkman Adventures. The hope is that one day BGM will not only meet it’s own expenses, but also raise money to support other ministries.
BGM’s goal is to reach many more people through the ministry of Brinkman Adventures. Our board is passionate about the scope and breadth of this ministry and the potential for future opportunities such as curriculum, family camp & mission scholarships. By God’s grace and through His empowering we hope to inspire, motivate, and facilitate the next generation of Christian world changers.
What We Believe
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Having limitless knowledge and sovereign power.
We believe that God has spoken in the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments. As the verbally inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation, and the ultimate authority by which every realm of human knowledge and endeavor should be judged.
We believe that human beings are sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God, and under His wrath. Only through God’s saving work in Jesus Christ can we be rescued, reconciled and renewed.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, one Person in two natures. We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation.
We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, equips and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.
We believe that the true church comprises all who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone.
We believe in the personal, bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of Christ, at a time known only to God, demands constant expectancy and, as our blessed hope, motivates the believer to godly living, sacrificial service and energetic mission.
